Itinerary
Departure on your way to Israel — The Land of the Bible.
When booking your land tour with us we can also assist with your flights. Or you can book your flights independently if you prefer — we will coordinate your arrival and departure airport transfers, included in your tour at no additional cost.
With jet lag and fatigue a possible downside to long flights, we recommend arriving in Tel Aviv one day before your tour starts (Saturday arrival instead of Sunday). This will help you rest, relax, and better adjust to the new time zone — so you start your tour fresh and energized.
The option includes transfers from Ben Gurion International Airport to your hotel, one night’s stay with breakfast and dinner at the Renaissance Tel Aviv (5-Star) or Grand Beach Tel Aviv Hotel (4-Star First Class). When booking please let us know if you would like to reserve this option.
Welcome to Israel. Upon arrival at Ben Gurion International Airport you will be met and assisted by our airport representative and transferred to Tel Aviv — Israel’s largest and most modern city, a short distance from ancient Jaffa.
Check in to your hotel for dinner and overnight. Your hotel is conveniently located near the shore of the Mediterranean Sea and close to Tel Aviv city center, shopping, and attractions — including the famous beachfront promenade lined with outdoor stores, restaurants, and coffee shops.
If time permits, visit the artistic neighborhood of Neve Tzedek, one of Tel Aviv’s oldest and most atmospheric neighborhoods.
Overnight Tel Aviv — Full Buffet Breakfast and Dinner included.
- Transfer from Ben Gurion International Airport to your Tel Aviv hotel

- Your choice of 5-Star Deluxe or 4-Star First Class accommodations
In the morning visit the Old Town of Jaffa, walking through its narrow stone passages. Believed to be one of the oldest port cities in the world, cedars from Lebanon arrived here to build Solomon’s Temple (2 Chronicles 2:16). Visit St. Peter’s Church, which marks the traditional site of Peter’s vision of the Great Sheet (Acts 10:9-16), and take a spectacular view of the Tel Aviv shoreline from Jaffa Hilltop.
Drive north to Caesarea Maritima (Acts 9:30, Acts 10:24-48), the center of early Christianity and Roman capital of Judea. Visit the excavations, Roman theatre, and aqueduct.
Stop at Mount Carmel (Muchraka) (1 Kings 18:16-24), where Elijah challenged the False Prophets, and enjoy a breathtaking panoramic view over Haifa Bay.
Continue to Megiddo (Joshua 12:21, 1 Kings 9:15, Revelation 16:16) — the site of Armageddon — where prophecy foretells the gathering of the armies for the end of times (Revelation 16:14-16). Explore the archaeological excavations including the ancient water supply system.
Continue to Nazareth (Luke 1:26, Luke 4:16, Matthew 2:23). Take in the view from Mount Precipice — the site of the rejection of Jesus (Luke 4:29-30) — and visit the Basilica of the Annunciation, where Gabriel announced to Mary that she would give birth to Jesus (Luke 1).
If time permits, drive to Cana of Galilee (John 2:1-11), and arrive at the Sea of Galilee and the town of Tiberias.
Overnight Sea of Galilee — Full Buffet Breakfast and Dinner included.

We begin with a visit to Magdala (Matthew 15:39), home of Mary Magdalene — including the oldest excavated synagogue in the Galilee from the time of Jesus’ ministry.
Board a wooden boat and sail the Sea of Galilee as the disciples did 2,000 years ago — where the Lord calmed the storm (Luke 8:22-25), walked on water (Mark 6:47-52), and appeared to his disciples after the resurrection (John 21).
Dock at Kibbutz Nof Ginosar and visit the Ancient Jesus Boat — preserved remains of a 2,000-year-old vessel from the era of Jesus.
Drive to the Golan Heights and visit Banias — ancient Caesarea Philippi (Matthew 16:13-18) — where Jesus said “On this rock I will build my Church.”
Continue through the Hula Valley and the Upper Galilee, then visit Yardenit on the Jordan River, where believers may submerge themselves in the waters where John the Baptist baptized Jesus (Matthew 3:13-17).

Visit Tabgha — the site of the Feeding of the 5,000 and Primacy of Peter — and the Church of the Multiplication with its remarkable 4th-century mosaic floor.
Continue to Capernaum (Matthew 4:13, Luke 7, Mark 1:2), believed to have been Jesus’ home and center of his ministry. Stand in the ruins of the synagogue where Jesus taught, and see the site of Peter’s home where Jesus healed Peter’s mother-in-law (Luke 4:38-40).
Journey to the ancient city of Beit She’an (Mark 5:20, 2 Samuel 21:12-14) and its remarkable archaeological site, then continue through the Jordan Valley past Jericho to the Dead Sea — the lowest point on earth. Enjoy optional spa treatments, a float on the remarkably buoyant salt water, or a swim in your hotel pool.

Continue to the desert oasis of Ein Gedi, where David hid from Saul (1 Samuel 23) and composed several Psalms.
Visit Qumran, where the Dead Sea Scrolls were discovered in 1947 — the oldest known copies of the Hebrew scriptures.
Continue to Jerusalem and take in a panoramic view from Mount Scopus — a moment to take in the full sweep of the Holy City and pause for prayer.

Through the Palm Sunday Road descend to the Garden of Gethsemane (Mark 14:32, John 18:1, Matthew 26:36), where 2,000-year-old olive trees still stand. Here Jesus prayed (Luke 22:39), an angel appeared to strengthen him (Luke 22:43), and Judas betrayed him (Luke 22:47-52).
Visit the Western Wall and the Western Wall Tunnels, revealing the construction of the Temple Mount and the Roman street where our Lord was led to judgment.
Continue to St. Anne’s Church and the Pool of Bethesda, where Jesus healed the paralytic who had waited 38 years (John 5).
Walk the Stations of the Cross along the Via Dolorosa, from Station 2 at the Church of the Flagellation and the Church of the Condemnation and Imposition of the Cross, to Station 14 inside the Church of the Holy Sepulchre (Matthew 27, Matthew 27:57, Matthew 28:1-10).

After an early breakfast, leave the hotel and travel south to Wadi Musa and on to Petra — known as “Sela Edom” or the red rock city (Isaiah 2:10), the ancient capital of the Nabateans from the 3rd century BC to the 2nd century AD. Carved by the Nabataeans out of solid rose-red rock, Petra was forgotten by the Western world for hundreds of years until rediscovered in 1812.
At the entrance travelers are offered the option to ride a horse 800 meters from the visitor center to the entrance of the dramatic “Siq” canyon. From the Siq entrance a 1,250-meter walk leads to the first great monument — The Treasury (Al-Khazneh), the iconic tomb of a Nabatean king. Continue through the field of tombs, obelisks, and the altar (Al-Madhbah), from which you can view the entire rock city.
During the Exodus, Moses and the Israelites passed through the Petra area in Edom (Numbers 20). The spring at Wadi Musa (Valley of Moses) just outside Petra is traditionally the place where Moses struck the rock and brought forth water (Numbers 20:10-11). Petra also appears in prophecy as a place of divine judgment (Isaiah 34, Obadiah).

Check out and drive to Madaba to see the remarkable ancient mosaic map of the Holy Land, preserved in the Greek Orthodox Church of St. George. Scripture notes “the servant of the Lord died there in the land of Moab” (Deuteronomy 34:5).
Continue approximately 10 km to Mount Nebo, from where Moses viewed the Promised Land (Deuteronomy 34). From this summit the Lord showed Moses all the land: Gilead as far as Dan, Naphtali, Ephraim and Manasseh, all the land of Judah as far as the Western Sea, the valley of Jericho, and as far as Zoar — and said: “This is the land of which I swore to give Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.” (Deuteronomy 34:1-4)

Yes. Israel has one of the most sophisticated security infrastructures in the world, and millions of Christian pilgrims visit safely each year. Jordan is consistently ranked among the safest countries in the Middle East and is a welcoming destination for Christian travelers. Our tours are carefully planned to visit biblical and tourist sites well away from any restricted areas.
Ben Gurion International Airport is regarded as one of the most secure airports in the world. We monitor conditions continuously and your safety is our highest priority. We recommend checking the U.S. State Department travel advisory for the most current information.
The land package includes: airport transfers, 9 nights accommodation, full buffet breakfast and dinner daily in Israel, buffet breakfast daily in Jordan, the complimentary St. Peter’s Fish lunch, all entrance fees, certified guides in both countries, and deluxe motorcoach. No credit card surcharges.
Not included: international flights, lunches (except St. Peter’s Fish), dinners in Jordan, tips, personal expenses, and border crossing taxes (Israel→Jordan approx. $35; Jordan→Israel approx. $16).
Israel: U.S. and Canadian citizens do not need a visa for tourist visits up to 90 days. Your passport must be valid for at least 6 months beyond your departure date from Israel.
Jordan: U.S. and Canadian citizens can obtain a visa on arrival at the border crossing or at Amman Queen Alia International Airport. As of 2024 the fee is approximately JD 40 (about $55 USD) for a single-entry visa, though visa policies are subject to change. Citizens of other countries should check with the relevant embassies prior to booking.
On Day 9 we cross from Jerusalem into Jordan via the Sheikh Hussein Bridge (Northern Border Crossing) or the Allenby Bridge (King Hussein Bridge), depending on scheduling. Our guide and team will assist you through all border procedures.

Most days involve 2 or more miles of walking on uneven surfaces, cobblestone streets, steps, and inclines. Petra in particular involves a significant walk — from the Siq entrance to the Treasury is approximately 1,250 meters (about 3/4 mile) on foot, on sand and gravel. A horse ride option covers the first 800 meters from the visitor center to the Siq entrance.
Many of our travelers are seniors and complete the tour successfully with proper footwear and pacing. If you have difficulty walking unaided, please contact us before booking so we can discuss accommodations. A private tour option is also available.
Register using the form below or call us at 1-800-933-4421 Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:30 PM PST. A non-refundable deposit of $200 per person confirms your reservation subject to availability. The deposit applies to the land package only. No added fees for credit card payment.
