When booking your land tour with us we can also assist with your flights. Or you can book your flights independently — we will coordinate your arrival and departure airport transfers, included in your tour at no additional cost.
With jet lag and fatigue a possible downside to long flights, we recommend arriving in Tel Aviv one day before your tour starts (Saturday arrival instead of Sunday). Rest, relax, and adjust to the new time zone so you start your tour fresh. The option includes transfers from Ben Gurion International Airport to your hotel, one night with breakfast and dinner at the Renaissance Tel Aviv (5-Star) or Grand Beach Tel Aviv Hotel (4-Star). Welcome to Israel. Upon arrival at Ben Gurion International Airport you will be met and assisted by our airport representative and transferred to Tel Aviv — Israel’s largest and most modern city, a short distance from ancient Jaffa. Visit Old Jaffa and St. Peter’s Church (Acts 10:9-16). Drive north to Caesarea Maritima (Acts 9:30, Acts 10:24-48), then Mount Carmel (1 Kings 18:16-24).
Continue to Megiddo (Revelation 16:16), the site of Armageddon, then through the Jezreel Valley to Nazareth (Luke 1:26, Matthew 2:23). View from Mount Precipice (Luke 4:29-30) and visit the Basilica of the Annunciation (Luke 1). If time permits drive to Cana of Galilee (John 2:1-11), then arrive at the Sea of Galilee and Tiberias.

Visit Magdala (Matthew 15:39), home of Mary Magdalene and the oldest excavated synagogue in the Galilee from the time of Jesus’ ministry. Board a wooden boat and sail the Sea of Galilee — where the Lord calmed the storm (Luke 8:22-25), walked on water (Mark 6:47-52), and appeared to his disciples after the resurrection (John 21).
Dock at Kibbutz Nof Ginosar and visit the Ancient Jesus Boat. Drive to the Golan Heights and visit Banias — ancient Caesarea Philippi (Matthew 16:13-18).
Continue through the Hula Valley and visit Yardenit on the Jordan River, where believers may be immersed in the waters where John the Baptist baptized Jesus (Matthew 3:13-17).

Visit the Mount of Beatitudes (Matthew 5–8) where Jesus preached the Sermon on the Mount, and the Church of the Beatitudes built by Antonio Barluzzi in 1938. Visit Tabgha and the Church of the Multiplication with its 4th-century mosaic floor.
Continue to Capernaum (Matthew 4:13, Luke 7), Jesus’ home and center of his ministry, then to Beit She’an (Mark 5:20, 2 Samuel 21:12-14), through the Jordan Valley past Jericho, and arrive at the Dead Sea — the lowest point on earth. Ascend by cable car to Masada — the 1,300-foot mountaintop fortress, last stronghold of the Jewish rebellion. Explore the first-century synagogue, King Herod’s Bathhouse, and breathtaking views over the Dead Sea. Continue to the oasis of Ein Gedi (1 Samuel 23), then to Qumran where the Dead Sea Scrolls were discovered in 1947.
Continue to Jerusalem and take in a panoramic view from Mount Scopus for prayer.

From Mount of Olives — where the Lord ascended into heaven (Acts 1) — look across the Kidron Valley to the Eastern Gate (Ezekiel 43). Visit Dominus Flevit (Luke 19:41-44) and descend to the Garden of Gethsemane (Mark 14:32, John 18:1) where 2,000-year-old olive trees still stand.
Visit the Western Wall and the Western Wall Tunnels, revealing the Temple Mount. Visit St. Anne’s Church and the Pool of Bethesda (John 5).

Yes. Israel has one of the most sophisticated security infrastructures in the world, and millions of Christian pilgrims visit safely every year. Our tours are planned to visit biblical and tourist sites well away from any restricted areas. Ben Gurion International Airport is regarded as one of the most secure airports in the world. We recommend checking the U.S. State Department travel advisory for current information.
Rome charges a mandatory city tax that is not included in your tour price and must be paid directly at your hotel in Rome. Current rates are approximately $7 USD per person per night for 5-Star Deluxe hotels and $6 USD per person per night for 4-Star First Class hotels. For 3 nights in Rome this amounts to approximately $21 (5-Star) or $18 (4-Star) per person. These rates are set by the City of Rome and are subject to change without notice.

Most days involve 2 or more miles of walking on uneven surfaces, cobblestone streets, steps, and inclines — especially in the Old City of Jerusalem and in Rome. The Rome sites (Colosseum, Palatine Hill, Vatican) involve substantial walking on uneven ancient stone surfaces. Comfortable, broken-in walking shoes are essential.

Both Jerusalem hotels are within walking distance of the Old City. In Tiberias your hotel sits on the shores of the Sea of Galilee. The Rome 4-Star hotels are the Bettoja properties, conveniently located near the tour pick-up point at Via Giovanni Amendola, 32.
Rome is where the story of the New Testament ultimately arrives. The Apostle Paul was brought to Rome as a prisoner and spent his final years there, writing letters that make up much of the New Testament (Acts 27-28, 2 Timothy 4). Both Paul and Peter were martyred in Rome under Emperor Nero around AD 64-68. St. Peter’s Basilica is built over the traditional tomb of Peter himself.
The Colosseum, though built after the early martyrdoms, became a symbol of Roman persecution of Christians. The Arch of Constantine commemorates the emperor whose conversion in AD 312 transformed Christianity from a persecuted sect into the religion of the Roman Empire.
